 | This is my answer. Changsha, February 1998 It was raining and very cold when i arrived in Changsha by train at about 8:30 pm. Chengdu, August 1995 Chengdu is famous for its food, that's true, another city Guangzhou is the same Beijing, March 2000 I went to Beijing as a trainee to learn some lessons. The HQ is beside the famous Tsinghua University and close to Zhongguan Cun the silicon vally of China. Lanzhou, July 1997 I do not like this city. Yinchuan, January 2002 There I met a very kind taxi driver. Guangzhou, March 2002 It was my first time to get there. I like this city. Inner Mongolia, April 1998 I stayed there for almost a month. The air was very dry and I had to drink lots of water every day. |

| Are these the first impressions these cities gave to you? I also like Chengdu and its spicy food! But I don't like Guangzhou! Scruffy and crowded! And its moist and sweltering climate made me so uncomfortable!! |

| The food of Chengdu is so cool! Chili used correctly however, is not supposed to be overbearing, but to bring out the flavors of a dish. Once you get used to the spice, it becomes easier to enjoy Sichuan food. The most famous dishes from the region include Spicy chicken with peanut(Gong bao ji ding), and spiced tofu with chili(Ma po dou fu). Many dishes here are served in a fish flavored (Yu xiang) sauce which is made from vinegar, ginger, sesame and soy). Hotpot is also very popular here, and there are numerous restaurants and stalls serving up spicy pots to passers-by. There are over 10 varieties of Chengdu hotpot including hotpot with boiled mutton, and hot pot with beer duck and all are pretty spicy so beware! |

| I have been to Yinchuan also! It impressed deeply, because its Sand Lake(called "Sha Hu" in Chinese) is really a wonder in the desert, like the Crescent Lake in Gansu Province. To be exactly, it is as large as a sea. The blue lake and yellow sand are set off strikingly against the backdrop of the Helan Mountain. The dense lush reed marshes around the lake are habitats for many precious birds. If you are fortunate enough, you will find swans and red-crested cranes. It combines the lush southern-type view and the northern-frontier scene beyond the Great Wall. |

| Shanghai - Love the place Qingdao - Like the place Hangzhou - Lovely place Suzhou - was not impressed Tongli - Ahh I love this place! Nanjing - Had a good time here Jinan - I know every street here now and having lots of fun! I can say now, wo shi Ji Nan Ren :) |

| Nanjing----Great food, great place Shanghai----Great place for shoping. Boring for everything else Chengdu----Great place, Hot food Xian----- Great food and place. A little too dry though Beijing---Great place, food and people. |

| Changsha 1999: Don't like the weather when I was there, but now miss the snacks and dishes there very much. Guilin 2003:Too tourism! Liuzhou: Though a industrial city, the air there is much cleaner than many northern cities. Wuhan 2000:The public security there is rather terrible. Xi'an: A city with plentiful history and culture. |
