Traveling to Qingdao, Beijing in Sept./Oct. 2005

My husband's job is sending him to Qingdao for several weeks. I am wondering if there is a quilting group or fabric stores there? I belong to a quilting group here and would love to exchange ideas and maybe rent a sewing machine and sew with them while there. Can someone give me any ideas or places to contact? Thanks!
