Bus. 867 no longer runs to Mutianyu

I've had to visit Mutianyu two times and the first time I had the hardest time finding 867. I know it had shut down for a period of time between late 2013 and into 2014 but all reports online said it was up and running.

The second time I had to go to Mutianyu I found the 867 bus stop outside of Dongzhimen (which is difficult) and was with a Chinese speaker. A local told us it stopped doing the Mutianyu detour in June.

SO DONT USE the 867 bus option. Just take 916 express and get off at Huairou and take a mini bus. A minibus shouldn't cost you more than 20 RMB per person. I didn't know how much the first time and paid a bit more. Don't be ripped off.
