Inside Archery Tower

Before I was told I couldn't take pictures of this intriguing white marble sculpture of the Pixiu, one already had been taken. Chinese legends say that when women wanted to have sons they would rub on the Pixiu.

Today, people who wish to have "prosperity" are the ones who most often rub on this animal god. Such was the case in this picture.
