Rear of Archery Tower at Tian'anmen Square

Jianlou (Archery Tower) over the Qian Gate at the southern end of Tian'anmen Square also is part of the ancient city's double-gate defense. Emperors would travel through this gate on their way to the Temple of Heaven.
