Fountain show

Every night at 8 pm there is a fountain show at the main park ( across from Dynasty hotel). It goes on for about 20 minutes and has lights and water shooting up.

FLOWER GIRLS

Beware of little girls selling flowers along the embakment of the Pearl River especially at the entrance of the Pier where you join the Pearl River Cruise. They will cling onto your legs and won't let go until a ransom is paid.

Shop in shenzhen Lowu(Luohu) Commercial City - Imagine 1500 small shops...

The best and easiest place to shop, especially if you are short of time, is Lowu Commercial City, a sprawling shopping center with close to 1500 small shops selling everything from dinosaur eggs (yes! real dinosaur eggs!) to high fashion leather handbags. The mall is in a sleek blue glass building at the exit of the Chinese border crossing.
While it's relatively safe, the usual travelling rules apply: dress down, leave your jewelry at home, shop with a belt bag and bring a bag on wheels for your purchases.

Airport Bus

Just a note to remind travellers that from Guangzhou Airport to the city there are many buses. But they do not all go to the same termini. In fact, there are four routes that they follow. There is a little handout that is available which will guide you. Just ask the airport staff for it and then choose your bus. The fare is less than 20 Yuan.

Guangzhou is dangerous???

Guangzhou is a beautiful city,but it is also dangerous in some places!Especially around the railway station!And you should better go to the subway directly from the railway station,don't go out!!!There are many thieves,jostler and spoliator!!!
Pls pay more attention to your bags when you are in the public places!
