I think Yinchuan really is a very beautiful place! Ningxia in general is a very unusual place in China, and deserves some good travelling.

I went to yinchuan years ago ,sand lake and shapotou are both good enough to me .riding camel is more funny than horse for me ,because the camel will knee down to let you climb up (like a faithful servant) ^_^ and it usually walks slowly ,its skin touched like felt ,very special .

Yes,Rita and Conny,I heard about the sand lake and Shapotou,but I will not visit them if I go to Yinchuan,because I have visited the same view in Innermongolia was named Bolongke!!!I will go to He lan Shan if I visit Yinchuan!

shapotou worth you a revisit ,drift on the yellow river ,riding camel ,slide on the sands ,the most attractive and stimulating activity is sliding by ropeway upon the yellow river ,really exciting !!I still yearn the days I were there .
