I love the fusion of East meets west. Chinese and western, mixed in a pot in the most beautiful city in the world. The art, Kung Fu, Triad!, fashion, movies... everything <3 <3 <3 Hong Kong has it's own culture. Why can't they theme their amusement parks with Hong Kong/chinese infuences, rather than turning it into Hollywood II? Avenue of Stars is just Hollywood Boulevard II, weren't they creative enough to do something better rather than just copy? In England we have Camilot, themed on the history of Sir Lancelot and the British medievel period. Alton Towers, the largest in theme park in UK, another British theme. I'm happy to say my country doesn't need American theme parks. Fluffy cute cartoon characters to replace our realites that are not perfect? Come on now... Disneys Board meeting went something like this:- Managing Director: How can we get even MORE money? Project Manager: Well, errr.... China's economy is like booming boss, and there's like errr... a lot of people there. Like a squillion, dude. Managing Director: Excellent. Our name will sell it, build it as small and quickly as you can. One more step towards world domination! Open another Champaigne. Project Manager: errr.... ok boss. (a similar conversation to the one at Starbucks when they opened in Forbidden City)

CONNY129 Points: Join Date: May 25, 2005 Status: Offline	Hongkong Disneyland is the No.5 in the world ,the other two located in America,one in Tokyo and one in Paris . there are four theme sections in HongKong Disneyland :American avenues ,fantasy world ,exploring land and tomorrow's world.Compared with other Disneyland ,it is much smaller but it has a special section for tourist to take photos with the characters of Didney.

To Elcabron:Haha,thanks for the joke!Yes,maybe I am a nationalist!I hope I am!As a manchu,I learning the language,thougt there were few persons understand it!I hope I can read the books come from the forbidden city:-)As a chinese,though I have japanese friend,I really don't want to go to Japan for any reasons!I don't hate the country,the japaneses......
