No, only cities in 'Mainland China' this includes Shenzhen If you are living in China and wish to visit HK or Macau or Tibet, you will be required to have a multi-entry visa or a re-entry permit for each excursion you take outside the country ie. to Vietnam, Thailand, or HK and Macau and Tibet etc I visited Macau from Mainland China last summer and while I have a Single entry 12 mounth Z visa I was required to have a RE-ENTRY PERMIT/VISA for China. As I understand now, more people on Z or Business visa are being issued with Multi-entry visas from this year. Last two times I have applied for a multi-entry Z visa it has been denied. I will wait to see what I am issued with next time I apply. Does this answer your question??

Thanks, your explanation satisfy my doubt. In China Ambassy, here in Brazil, to have a multi-entry visa is necessary two previous travel to China. Only in the 3th. visit, they allow a multientry visa. The next, in november, will be my 2nd.travel. I wish to visit Macau and HK. I will try the re-entry, when I will be in Beijing.

Thank you Jabarootoo. I have a Z visa, but not a multi entry visa so I knew I could not go to Hong Kong or Macao. But I thought I may have read Shenzhen and figured it was the proximity to Hong Kong. Thank you for verifying about that city.

Don't know about shots. Ask your travel doctor. Assuming you're travelling on a Canadian passport, you'll need to apply for a China visa BEFORE you even get to China. You do NOT get a visa-on-arrival.

To Guest57818... The travel agency would be able to tell you your VISA requirment. Otherwise go to the Chinese Consulate in your home city or google "visaconnections" & follow the links to find a company to help you. You likely will be looking at a tourist or business visa. Shots? Your Travel Clinic will let you know what you need depending on your itinerary and time of travel. Pinky
