There is a hard core group of local people (all ages) who dance salsa every week. They meet in a studio for classes and then go out for salsa party every Tuesday, Thursday, at Carols by the River. They meet on Saturday evenings as well for salsa dancing. It is SUPER fun. The instructors are really good. and the people that take the lessons are really nice. They also like to dance bachata, merengue, mambo, pachanga and cha cha cha. You can find more information on GoChengdu.

No salsa clubs in Chengdu! The most recent post was Feb. 2012. No one is interested in salsa, Bachata dance any more? I am going to Chengdu in January 2014, is there any improvement?
If there are no salsa clubs, with some people who have been dancing, we can find a place and make one club.
