Where will you stay in Shenzhen? There are several bus stations that have buses from Shenzhen to Xiamen, for example, Luohu Bus Station. It is located on the first and second floor of the Luohu Commercial City.

Usually, you need to buy the tickets at the bus station when you get there. But you come to Shenzhen during the National Day Holidays. Many Chinese people will go out during this time. Thus, please buy your tickets as early as you can.

Here is the tel: 0755-82321670. Call them and see if they can book the tickets for you. If not, you'd better com to the station and buy the tickets in advance.

Hi All,

I really found all the information about express bus travel from Shenzhen to Xiamen very helpful. But I got confused which bus station in Shenzhen is the most convenient and with the most number of time options we go to take the bus?

Also, is it cheaper to purchase tickets in advance? We will be arriving Hong Kong this Oct 16, and wish to go to Shenzhen on the same day to take the overnight bus going to Xiamen. Is this a holiday in China?

Will it be cheaper to buy a return ticket?

Appreciate any help in this matter. thanks so much!

GUEST26179	We plan to visit Xiamen from Oct 16-20. Then, we wish to drop by Guangzhou to attend the Canton Fair for 2 days, and visit Shenzhen for 2 days. a. Which shall we do first, Guangzhou or Shenzhen? b. Will it be better to take the bus going to Shenzhen and using Shenzhen as the base? c. How far is it to travel from Shenzhen to Guangzhou?

I suggest you go to Shenzhen first if you are not late for the Canton Fair. Then you can take fast train from Shenzhen to Guangzhou. After visiting the Canton Fair, go to Guangzhou East Railway Station to take train to Xiamen. If you want to take bus, please go to Tianhe Bus Station. There are 15 buses from Guangzhou to Xiamen. The latest one leaves at 22:50. The bus ticket is CNY 260/270.

The fare is CNY 365.
