I have read all your wonderful discussion about this topic. For me sometimes I like phone call because it can solve a problem immediately while sometimes I like sending short message because it is more private. There are some words that you cannot speak out or it is not very easy for you to speak out, and then short messages can help you to express yourself, right? :)

it is more secret, no one would know what you are talking about through SMS .
if sometimes make a call is not convenient,a SMS is really helpful .for instance ,when you are having a class and the teacher is talking on the platform, you have a incoming call ; when your roommates are all asleep,it is not polite to speak loudly to wake them up;you two really have nothing important to discuss ,just chat to kill time ~~

Hi, lovely Conny, you are absolutely right! SMS provides me a wider and much more free space to talk to my friends. It is just like writing letters and you can say almost everything you want to say.

Hi, California, if you have realised that sometimes you may hurt someone, then you'd better look before you leap(三思而后行)，right?
Frankly speaking I like making friends with those who have the straight characteristics. I will feel free when staying or speaking with them.
