GUEST60102 We are planning on visting the Wolong Panda reserve in early May 08 and our dream is to hold a panda bear. Will there be a opportunity to do this in May. We definately will pay to do this?

Thanks

No reason why not it just depends on how many cubs they have but there is a fee.

Try to avoid the holiday and weekends and you'll find it less crowded.

The other option is to get up close and personal with a large panda. It's possible to feel the coat and enjoy the eye contact at such close range.

We went on a weekday and there was virtually no-one around.

Does anyone know of the possibilities of watching pandas is an environment that somewhat resembles their natural habitat? Are there larger enclosures? Does anyone know of the possibilities of trekking (and tracking) pandas in the actual Wolong reserve? What are the chanses of actual spotting? What are the photo oppostunities?
