Hi there, I'm going Xian for about 3 days. I would like to know the local food there. Is the food predominantly mutton over there? I don't eat mutton, so I need to be psychologically prepared hehehe...:P

no,there isn't predominant kind of meat ,if you don't like ,you can order beef ,pork or whatever you like .
although Yangroupaomo(a soup dish that involves breaking wheat flour flat bread into a bowl and adding a delicious mutton stock ) is famous ,we add beef stock more than mutton :P ,to be specific it should be called Niuyangroupaomo .

Hello Hiden,

I am a Canadian living in Xi'an, and I think that it is a wonderful city. I go downtown to the Bell Tower area nearly every weekend. The Chinese are very friendly and helpful in every way. You should be proud of your city.
