GUEST22071	Yes, it’s oily salty and has extreme fish odors. Lived with a student fron Shanghai area and she cooked “traditional” meals and you honestly couldn’t breathe from the fish odor. Many types of fish were boiled in a wok with oil and water and the odor permeated the house. The soy sause was “sticky” and also had a strong fish odor, and even plain noodles dripped with lil and sesame seed oil. Maybe it’s just this region but the smell was overwhelming and would completely permeate the entire floor.
