From Beijing to Lhasa,about 48 hours,you can see Qinghai Lake,Kekexili,Grassland in the train:-)

Hi,
is it possible to travel also onwards to Nepal and India from Lhasa, or does it have to be a round-trip?

Any other suggestions for travelling from China to India with low budget?

I think you can take a bus from Lhasa to Katmandu,and then to India.
