Whaoh, Conny, you are fantastic!!!
I am so happy with the hotel you found in Tongli, the "jing yi tang"; i went to their web site and could see it is very very nice, and cheap; i took the phone number, and will phone soon to book a room. Do you know hotels like that, at his pice, in the other towns i will visit? Because the hotels i could find on internet are much more expensive; when you travel alone you always pay more, and i don't want a dormitory or a room without bathroom. So if you know something good in Suzhou, Zhouzhuang, Hangzhou ,and Shanghai, let me know! Preparing this travel is quite long, because there is no precise guide about it. Even "lonely planet" is not good enough.
Thanks also for the timetable of the buses running to Suzhou from Shanghai pudong airport.
I will spend 2 weeks in China, i think about staying 6 days in Shanghai.
I have seen that you are from Xian; i have a chinese friend from Xian, he lives in Switzerland now. I am from Paris, it is cold here these days...But in one week time (saturday 4th of february), i go to Hainan (my hotel is in Sanya).
Bye for now!

OK, Thanks anyway for all your information. Now i am nearly ready to book the hotels and then i won't think about it anymore for one month.
I am new on this site, but i like it, and when i have more time, i will put photos, stories about my travels in China, and good addresses too because it is so useful for people going around.
It is very nice to you to help people in their travels. I don't know if such a site exists for France, but i would do the same if i could.
Bye
