Hi
it will be im first time in china and im teaching english at a private school. I dont know what clothes teachers wear etc and any genral advice would be great.

Hi,

Just like wocca said, wear whatever you usually wear but I think you should not wear shorts while you are teaching. If you taught somewhere else and wore a tie, do that also.

You don't have to wear suit with a tie to teach in China.

Avoid being attractive, haha~, draw the attentions of your students to what you say or what you write on the blackboard not yourself, that makes a good teacher. :D
