Note on Pre-Nup: Not just for the rich, because of divorce laws in North America- after one year of marriage OR living together, you may have to split all assets 50/50. Great if you have nothing!

Note on "Third World Abuse" - does not apply to USA or Canada. Legislation stopped this in the 1990's

***Sorry MAY001 ! ****** Back to the thread:

CROUCHING/HIDDEN attracted attention because of its unique name - then it became a huge hit since it was so awesome!

Typically, a lot of American films have very boring or cliche titles. Nice to see the Asian titles translated as they are unique/different!

I didn't see the movie 无极 or The Promise, so I didn't really know what 无极 means here(because the combination of 无 and 极 is not usual in Chinese, from my groundless guessing, it means something like 'Beyond Extremity'), but from its English name 'The Promise', I got spaces to think about what it would tell.

Until now, I haven't read any positive comments to the movie 无极 or The Promise. That's why I decided to see it at lease once to find out how bad it is :-)

The Promise is not very good. In fact it disappoints a lot of audience. No coherent and attractive plots, just ornate visual effect. But I really appreciated the wonderful performance of Nicolas. :)

They cost more than 0.1billionRMB,and where can you watch from the movie!

I think they cost so much money for doing a ugly style of Chen Hong's hair.

I agree that the woman's hair style is very ugly if the picture you attached is the actress from the movie. I didn't see that movie, either.
