Sometimes we raise a subject to arouse generaly discussion & sometimes to get the views of others. It is not a must to have your own opinion/thoughts on it, though it would be preferrable.
There are also members who like to raise a topic but withold their own opinion before jumping in.

If Dracula doesn't wish to put forth his views, so be it. Probably he doesn't want to hurt anyone with his views ?

Because I cannot stand the way you are conducting yourself - just that simple. U are too imposing - remember this is not your school.

Yes obviously

A lot of Chinese can do a better job than the foreigner

However, a lot of companies still want to employ someone who is a foreigner with higher salary

Quite often these are companies that have offices over the world.
In S'pore, it is quite normal to see MNCs despatching foreign staff here not just because they are more skilful/talented, but because these staff couldn't find a job in the comapnies in their own country. Some countries have very strong workers' unions ( Britain/Australia) who would questioned the employers the need to retrench staff etc. To avoid such justification to their workers' unions, they despatch these excess staff to another country as expatriates and of cos described as "experts" !!

I like the views of Joy & Pinetree.

The expatriates in China are free-loaders. They rush in for a little money and get to travel cheap all over China. (And hoping to find a chinese girlfriend too) They are never interested in doing a good job. Never!! They can't do a good job anyway. Many are actually back-packers.

Sadly, China may be too liberal with employing these expatriates.

Yes,it is a problem!

There was a thing happened in Beijing,in a English Training School, their teacher comes from many countries, even they have no job or can't get job in their own countries!

They only can speak english, and they can't teach well!

So pity for china.
