We don't want the restrictions of an organised tour and want to arrange our own flights and itinerary. This is what we want: 14 days travel See best places in China (must see Great Wall) Knowledgeable tour guides in main sight-seeing places Time for shopping/relaxing Hotels with spas/saunas/swimming pools Nice food Acrobat show and other recommended entertainment Prefer to travel on luxury sleeper trains Thank you for taking the time to respond, Suzy

RITA Points: Join Date: May 10, 2005 Status: Offline	If this is your first time to China, here is what i recommend: Beijing (3 nights, 'n' for short)- Lhasa (3n) - Xian (2n) - Chongqing - Yangtze River Cruise (3n) - Yichang - Shanghai (2n) It covered the highlights of China - Beijing. Xian, Tibet, Yangtze River and Shanghai.

Tibet: Potala Palace, the Jokhang Temple, Xian: the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum, the Provincial History Museum, the Big Wild Goose Pagoda... Shanghai: Shanghai Museum and the Yuyuan Garden...

Maybe more than 14 days!!! Have a nice trip!!!
