I'v listed all my favorite spots that I wanna visit. So many! Though time and money is limited at a time, I'll see two of them every year during the May Day holiday and National Day. The first destination of this year, will probably be Qinghai lake.

I mentioned earlier that I would give China a miss this year. I have to eat my words this time as I have decided to join my family to visit Beijing, Chengde & Tianjin from 19 - 27 Apr 06. I'm a little worried when I saw CALIFORNIA's post that it is very dirty in Beijing now. Hope that the dust storm would not be that bad for the next few days.

I also wish that I would still have enough money to visit Canada in October which is my original travel plan in 2006.

Dear Rita, Thanks for the invitation.

My plans are simple. I am not fully free to do my own thing, but as a teacher on holidays, I plan to return to my beloved China this summer. I leave Kolkata (Calcutta) on 1st May and arrive Macau via Bangkok and HK, on 2nd. Will work in Macau and HK till 7th and then I plan to be in Guangzhou till the end of them onth - learning Mandarin and teaching English.

Next I head for Wuhan, Zhengzhou, Beijing, Shengyang, Jilin. Finally, back to Macau and on to India by 13th June.

It is a short trip, but I look forward to it nonetheless. The overseas part will be by plane; within China, by bus and train. Part of the plan is to meet again the nice students I met on my trip last year. I also plan to make new friends. A little bit of Mandarin will help.

I may even get to meet those new friends I am making through TCG. best wishes to all travellers. Kevin
