Yes, taxi and bus. About 25 km IIRC.

I need to travel from Beijing to Dunhuang on 04/28/2011. Any suggestions in taking railroad? Thanks

Unfortunately, there is no direct train from Beijing to Dunhuang. Maybe you could transfer in xian, also a famous tourism city.
