Right, Conny! That's exactly what I concerned. It's good to mourn their lost loved ones, but the ways they mourn become more and more, sort of, ridiculous. I read the news yesterday online, people even burn Super Girls' pictures as an offering to their passed male relatives.

Everything is about balanced - not over or under doing. Someone promised me a BMW7 serie 10 yrs ago when he made it rich. So far, it hasn't come true. I hope that when I died, he can burn one for me to enjoy in the nether world ! I may suggest to him to burn me pics of my favourite actresses too !

Pinetree, are you sure there is a gas station in the nether world? LOL

Well, we don't know anything about the nether world. Human's imagination is limited - we can only imagine things that we see/experienced. Probably there is no nether world at all. So all these are more for the living - yes, u are right.

There is another thing we must concern, I think. Some people are actually not filial at all when their parents were still alive. However, they may burn a lot of paper money & car & house & beauty etc. to their parents after their death. How ridiculous!! I think the best way to show the filial piety is to treat your parents good when they are alive.

Yes, we often take things for granted. Many of us do not treasure our parents when they are still alive. Only when they are gone, did we realize how important they were and regret not treating them better. So, don’t wait, let’s start showing them our filial piety now. One good way is to bring them the see the outside world if they like to travel too.

Say it loud, say it clear You can listen as well as you hear It's too late when we die To admit we don't see eye to eye. I wasn't there that morning When my father passed away I didn't get to tell him All the things I had to say. I think I caught his spirit Later that same year I'm sure I heard his echo In my baby's new born tears I just wish I could have told him In the living years.
