Just my thought..The Love story is beautiful and very sad but I think it also shows that even that the two lovers can only be together once a year that their love for each other is a True Love..a Forever Love:)No other kind of love could endure such hardship..

Yes, I absolutely agree with this thought !!!! I would much rather view this story in a most positive and 'romantic' light, rather than one of sorrow and heartbreak !!

I would rather believe that the love these two share with each other, is at a very high and spiritual level; and that the bond/joy they share on the seventh day of the seventh month (of the Chinese Lunar Year) is so great, it can endure through the months, until they meet again, and again, each year, throughout eternity. :) :)

Any thoughts on this, Rita, Conny, May, Loveisverb, Christine, and all/any other female members ?? :) :)
