GUEST25168 Hi,

I am travelling from Shanghai to Shenzhen and then through to Hong Kong as it is the cheapest route. I was just wondering what is the cheapest and best way to travel from Shenzhen through to Hong Kong?

I was also thinking of spending a few days in Macau? What is the best way to get there? Through Shenzhen or Hong Kong? And how is this achieved?

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

Shenzhen airport, or Shenzhen train station? Where exactly in Hong Kong are you going? What time are you arriving in Shenzhen? How many of you are there and how much luggage do you have?

The best way doesn't mean the cheapest, and vice-versa

Oh dear: Language! I read the title and the question and assumed the writer did not understand that you can walk and catch a train to travel from from Shenzhen to HK. A later post, (another guest or the same on with a different id) asked about ferries between airports. Ahhh!! 'Ferry' has traditionally meant a boat but now it is used more broadly including a plane ferry. Chinese and English both do the same with 'station'. In English, on it's own means railway station, but we can also say coach or bus station.

Aiya, it's so hard to be accurate and not convey an imprecise message.
