I have always given my friends something special from home. Think about what you would give any of your English friends for thier wedding and then consider what is the easiest to transport. Something practical or useful in thier new home.

I sometimes bring unusual artwork and have it framed in China and give these as gifts. I've even had special scrolls made with English poem/proverb translated into Chinese just for something different and very personalized. Something nice to fill an empty wall.

Typical Chinese wedding is the money in the red envelope so if you wnat to play it safe!!!!!!!

Hi Jabarootoo

You must've read my mind! A translated English Script was exactly what I was thinking of...something romantic! how do you go about getting an accurate translation? I don't speak or read Chinese at all and don't want to give my dear friends something which doesn't make sense or, much worse, isn't what I wanted translated!

Any help, gratefully received!

Julie
