Take the train from Shanghai Meilong train station (at the Jinjiang Park metro stop on line 1) instead of the ones from Shanghai main train station. Hard seat is only 25 RMB and the journey takes less than 2 hours.

Hi there,

As Ellyse said take the train from the Shanghai railway station near Zhongxing Road. It should take only about two hours. As for the temperature, thje average high temperature in June is between 82 to 85 degrees F or 27 to 29 C. For July it is 90 to 94 F or 32 to 35 C. For August it is about 89 to 93 F. or 31 to 34 C. I hope this helps and have a good trip.
