 | i'm going to chengdu this saturday. would like to find out few things from the experts... 1. where can i find those graphic design related books in chengdu? i.e. mediabank 2. how's the weather like? what type of clothing is proper/suitable? 3. how's the weather in jiuzhaigou? is the weather of jiuzhaigou, leshan, emeishan that unpredictable? thx a lot |

| I'm not in Chengdu, and i've never been there. Just some advices for you.:) Try to find some bookstore which has english books in it. You can find some tour guide books there. And there're bookstores in the airports of china. You can try there. Here's a link about Chengdu and the places you're going to visit, check it out: http://english.ctrip.com/ It's rainy these days there, the temprature is from 10-20C(50-70F) It's much colder in JiuZhaigou, about 5-15C(40-60F). A Tshirt and a sweater or a coat is ok i think. Have a nice trip there!:) |

| There are a few members here quite familiar with Chengdu and Sichuan. Be patient. When they sign in, am sure they will give u some advices. |

| Hi Jacque, Weather in the mountains can be very unpredictable and it will still be cool especially at the top or if it is overcaste. Be sure to take something warm but be able to peel off. No idea about the graphic arts books but Xinhua, the biggest bookstore chain in the country would be a good place to look or if you get into one of those districts where all the art shops are, near Art Colleges or Universities you may find something???? good luck there |
