My china trip next month

Hi guy,
I'm going to travel in china next month ,
but I don't know what should I pay attention to .
Please give me advice about Beijing, xian,shanghai
and where should I go.
How about the price at local hotel.

Hey Shawn,

You can check the city guide on this web site and see what those cities have as attractions, most gives you prices on what they cost to enter, and you can look up hotels on this site also, so go check it out. I hope this helps a little.

What's your budget? Do you have any idea about the cities you listed? I think it's best to read some reviews and city guides before your traveling. They can give you info about the cities and then we can deal with those futher questions.

Thanks all for your replies
I'm going to stay 7 days in china, from May 04 to May 11.
I make a list for my trip

I will stay 3 days in Beijing
then I'll arrive in Xian and stay 2 days
finally I'll arrive in Shanghai and go back .

I want to know which attraction is best in beijing,
except Greatwall,forbidden city,Heaven temple.

Hi Shawn,

Welcome to China. Beijing and Xi'an are all hot destinations for travellers. They won't disappoint you anyway.

While I think 2 days is a little bit short for Xi'an. Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses, Shaanxi Provincial Museum, Big Wild Goose Pagoda, Bell Tower, Mt. Hua can not be missed.

Except the places of Beijing you mentioned,and Summer Palace can't be missed:-)

You've only 7 days?! I advise you to stick to 2 places, at the most. :( Or else you won't really see much of anything! Beijing is big and there's a lot to see... I could spend 7 days in Beijing alone :(

Shanghai is not that necessary, Beijing and Xi'an are the must!!
