Macau to Kunming (travel options)?

Macau to Kunming (travel options)?

I need to get to Kunming from Bangkok (but the direct flight is a bit pricy). I know Bkk-Macau is a good option on AirAsia but I don't know how to get from Macau to Kunming?

What airlines fly from MACAU-KUNMING?
How much does a one-way ticket go for?
Is there an overland option I should consider (ie. sleeper train?)

and finally, entering Macau only requires a Chinese visa and passport right?

As I know there is no flight from macau to kunming directly ,however you can came to shanghai or beijing or xia men then go to kunming.

Take a look at the flight schedules which can be accessed via the 'aeroplane' ICON on top right of the page. Suggest you get the ferry from Macua to Guangzhou. There are a dozen or more flights to Kunming for Y1270 which you should be able to get cheaper than the advertized price maybe Y800/900.

Alternatively walk across the Border Gate into Zhuhai where you may be able to get a bus to Kunming or some other major destination and change buses to Kunming.

Try getting to Nanning by bus from there you can take the train to Kunming. Train schedules you can find here too but I've lost them for the moment.

Macau -- walk over -- Zhuhai -- bus -- Guangzhou -- overnight train -- Kunming
Lijiang -- bus (overnight sleeper possible) -- Kunming -- overnight train -- Guangzhou

just doing the same trip via Macau and would recommend to fly to Guanzhou, Shenzhen or Guilin with Air asia. Because once in Macau the cheap flights to Kunming depart from Shenzhen and that means you have to take a ferry and taxi to get to the airport, and usually overnight stay in macau Gunazhou offers you to jump in the train, as does Guilin. Summing up a flight by thai airways directly might note be as expensive anymore
