Ok, I love Beijing. It was such an inspirational trip to the Chinese capital that I will never forget it!. In fact, I coming back for more of the same very soon. Can anyone give me any advice on gaining permanent citizenship in China?. I want to run a business in Beijing but I don't want to keep leaving everytime my visa expires!. Any suggestions?. Warm thanks to California(my good friend)

I like BJ too. Had wanted to work/stay there too but didn't get the opportunity. Doubt a foreigner can become her citizen easily - maybe permanent residentship. The locals may be able to advise or seek advice from such agency. But before u jump to conclusion that BJ is where u want, look around more of China first. U may decide against living in a major city after seeing more ? I won't want to live in a major city(after spending my entire life in big cities) - maybe a smaller one where the pace of life is slower, people are nicer and everything is more alluring. There are so much to choose in China that u may end up not deciding !

Xiexie Pinetree. The thing is...I want to start business in Beijing. Maybe in the future I will look for other accomodation in other parts of China. Also,in Beijing, I have friends who can help me with my Chinese language and other problems that may occur. I must learn more Chinese vocabulary to make my business and my life a success. So I think it would be better to start in Beijing then maybe branch out in the future. I also left my heart in Beijing so i must go collect. Pinetree, If my business is successful then you are welcomed to come visit me and I buy you lunch.

Why not invite me to BJ & help you establish your business instead ? Just pay for my accomodation & meals. I am vastly experienced in petroleum trading, logistics, shipping, etc. I understand a little English & good level of Chinese.

Thankyou Pinetree. I have found various business partners in Beijing, including a wife. I would really love to take you up on the offer but now it's very difficult. Maybe in the future we could do something, but right now I really have no time. I am preparing all my documents to marry, and this takes up a lot of time. But please keep in touch Pinetree.
