Yes, Conny this movie opened in theatres across America last weekend, with more tickets sold than any other film so far, in 2006. I will try and see it this coming weekend.

the movie came up on 19th May in Xi'an ,the ticket is expensive (CNY 30 for adult). so I bought the book to see what's the story the author want to tell us ,then I found myself addicted to it .Plan to go to the cinema when I finished my reading .
Btw, I like Tom Hanks :P

I have been keeping reading the book after work for several days. This is the first suspenseful novel I have evern seen. An interesting book.

The part I am interested in most is the explanation of Da Vinci's masterpiece: Mona Lisa. Realling amazing!

Hi guys or rather all the Da Vince Code fans,

I suggest you to read the novel and watch the movie as well. Same story but different feeling.

Interesting book: the challenge was not in the author's puzzles but in deciding the meaning of the scanning typos of the pirated version I bought locally (hell, I didn't know it was pirated until I got it home).

Interesting plot, anything which challenges the doctrine of established churches interests me... but the bottom line is it was all pretty fanciful, just like the book it is based on.....I can't really see why so many people are getting upset about the movie.

I can't imagine I will see the movie, it can't beat The Life of Brian :)

It is reported that, despite negative reviews, Da Vinci Code is now the no. 1 movie in the world for 2006! My local newspaper did not give a favourable review and rated the movie with only 2 stars (below average). Another journalist commented that it has a boring plot. I usually do not trust their reviews. I watched the movies with my wife last Sunday. We find the movie entertaining. It has a clever and interesting plot. I would rate the movie with 3.5 stars.
