Suzhou Accomodation?!

Hi, I'm currently a junior @ Purdue University. I will be traveling to Suzhou for an internship with Sernet Technologies Corporation located in the Suzhou Industrial Park. I'm having trouble finding affordable housing around there.

My internship is from June 8th to July 31st.

Lookin for either a cheap hotel around 100 rmb a night. Or to rent a apartment for under 300 usd?

Could someone help me out please?

Hi Benjammin,

I looked on sinohotel.com and this web site and all I could find for the cheapest hotel room for a single room in Suzhou is $20 US or 160 Yuan RMB and that was at the Jing Yuan Hotel. The Chuntian Hotel and the Jia He Business Hotel is $21 US or 168 Yuan RMB. Maybe someone else could give you a better idea. Good luck

Not sure if you want a private room but this youth hostel offers beds from Y45 to Y200 have a look it might be useful.

Why isn't the company where you'll be interning at helping you with accommodation?

My company offers company dormitories but they're pretty expensive. I was hoping to find some on my own.
