| Is it true? Anybody in beijing noticed the quake? 07-04-2006 14:46 A slight earthquake sent tremors through parts of Beijing and surrounding areas just before noon today. It lasted only two or three seconds, but caught the attention of people across the capital. According to the State Seismological Bureau, the quake measured 5.1 on the Richter Scale. Its epicenter was in Wen'an County in north China's Hebei province, about 70 kilometers south of Beijing. No injuries have been reported. |

| Yes, I felt it. Lasted a few seconds and made me feel suddenly very dizzy. There must have been some electrical disturbance too, as my cellphone buzzed. Not a serious quake, but the house swayed disturbingly for those few seconds. |

| Yes,it happened in Wen'an!120km in the south of Beijing,and near Tianjin,too! My computer was shaking when it happened,and I just thought that someone touched my chair. But it is ok! |
