Beijing to Dalian - Cheap transportation

Hey guys,

Is there a way to travel from Beijing to Dalian by Bus, By Train or by Sea (I'm assuming that Busses and Trains would be cheaper than flying)?

If there is a way:-
What would it cost in Chinese currency?
How long it takes and are the tickets readily available?

It's faster and safer to travel by train. From Beijing to Dalian:
Train No. Dep. Arr. Duration
T225/T228 18:00 06:00 0d12h00m
T81/T84 21:21 06:58 0d09h37m
Hard seat:120RMB
soft seat:190RMB
Hard sleeper:216RMB
soft sleeper:338RMB
You can ask for help from the hotel or travel agent. The serivce charge is 5-20RMB. Book the ticket a couple of days before departure. Good luck!:)
