moving to HK unprapared..help!

Hello everybody,
guys do I need some help!!....I was born in the US but my family is from Hondurs so in other words i speak english and spanish 100% but 0% of chinese! my long dream has always been to move to HK..i love the culture, and history of the country...my questions are many..please send as many inputs as possible..

1.can I get a job in HK w/o speaking chinese?
2.how much money should I bring with me
3.can I get around with out a car
4.how safe is it?

I am buying a one way only ticket...i need to do this in less than a month...please give me inputs ...I am 30 years old if that help at all.

1.Yep, of course. There're many foreigns living and working in HK without speaking Chinese or Cantonese. Hong Kong's official languages are English and Chinese. Most people can speak english.

2.The living cost is higher than other cities in china. How much money should bring with, hmmm...it depends on where you live, have meals and how long you plan to stay there.

3.The public transportation is convenience there. So it's ok to get around without a car.

4.I went to Hongkong several times. It is a safe city day or night. The HK Police who served under the British government continue to maintain law and order. Avoid carrying large amounts of cash or valuables. Beware of pickpocketing in busy districts.

HK is a nice safe city, you will love it. There are lots of foreign corporations need native Englist speaking employees.
Just go to HK.
