I have disability which make travelling by public transport a little difficult.

Hi dear,I've been to Shanghai 3 yrs ago and the taxi there is not expensive, you may ask the taxi driver if they can take you there, but you must bargin with them or you may rent a car with driver. From Shanghai to Suzhou is about 30mins train ride, so I think the distance is about 70kms. I don't know from Suzhou to Hangzhou.

Hi,

I have been to Hangzhou and Suzhou and the taxi would be too expensive to take. It is a two hour train ride to Hangzhou and about 30 to 40 minutes train ride to Suzhou. It is about 180 km to Hangzhou I think. I think it would be better if you take the train. I hope this helps and I hope you have a good trip.

Generally bus, 3 hours. There's a fast train daily that takes about half an hour less.

GUEST43249 I've recently traveled from Shanghai to Hangzhou and from Shanghai to Suzhou in a cab. The cost of the former was $140.00 round trip and the cost of the latter was $50.00 one way. I was traveling with my 8 year-old daughter and I can tell you this is a relatively inexpensive and hassle-free way to go. Any four or five star hotel can call a travel rep for you. And, yes, do negotiate the price.

There're direct buses from Pudong airport to Suzhou. However there's no train station at Pudong airport so taking a train from the airport to anywhere in China is NOT possible.
