Hello,

I have an overnight layover at Dalian Airport. I was planning on sleeping at the airport. I have never been there and would like to hear your opinion. Is it safe? IS there a quiet place to lay my head? Will I be woken up by security guards?

In case this plan won't work, is there a very cheap and safe place to stay at near the airport? It could be a bit far away, too, if transportation doesn't cost too much.

Thanks.

Hi, here's an interesting website about sleeping in Airports world around.
http://www.sleepinginairports.net/asia.htm
There's no tips about Dalian Airport. But they have tips about Beijing, Chengdu, Guangzhou, Qingdao, etc... Maybe you can learn some from here. Find a bar with comfortable sofa, or a quiet corner to lie down. You can add your own tips on it later. Keep an eye on your belongs while sleeping.
Oh, here's another link of Dalian Airport. I hope it helps. I went to Dalian airport 3 years ago, can't remember much about it. The airport looks so different now. Was it rebuilt?
