Guangzhou / Xiamen by Bus or by plane ?

Arriving by air from Paris in Guangzhou , going to Xiamen what it the best way to go ? by bus or by Xiamen airlines?
by air i saw,it cost about 100 USD , 5 Hours waiting at the airport and 1h flight ??
By bus it seem to be cheaper and faster ... do u have any information about it

Arrivant a Canton par vol AF , j'ai 5 heures d'attente pour à l'aeroport pour reprendre un vol pour Xiamen.De plus celà me couterai 70€ .
Puis je rallier Xiamen au depart de l'aeroport de Canton par bus ? qui peut m'informer sur la durée due transfert en bus de l'aeroport de Canton / gare routiere canton / bus jusqu'a Xiamen.
La course peut elle se faire en Taxi et a quel prix ? etc..

i think the air ticket is too high. you can ask them how much discount the ticket agent could give to you.it could cost you less.usually 5 hours is unnecessary for you waiting in the airport for departure. two hours is enough for your waiting.
by bus it would cost you less than 200 rmb from guangzhou to xiamen. but it would take much longer time , about 8 hours.

By bus or train:-)

But from Guangzhou to Xiamen,it will take 14hrs by train.

Departures from Tianhe long-distance bus station (天河客运站) from 0720 to 2250, roughly once every 50 mins. Fare is 220 RMB, journey time 8.5 hours.

I heard that there is no longer bus service from Hong Kong to Xiamen. Are the buses comfortable from Guangzhou to Xiamen?

There're buses leaving to Xiamen from quite a few long-distance bus stations in Guangzhou, mostly from Tianhe long-distance bus station.
Tianhe long-distance bus station (天河客运站): 0720, 0900, 0950, 1040, 1220, 1300, 1500, 1820, 1900, 2020, 2200, 2220, 2250
Guangzhou city long-distance bus station (市汽车客运站): 0840, 1040, 1730, 2130
Guangyuan long-distance bus station (广园客运站): 0910, 1130, 2200, 2330
Guangdong province long-distance bus station (省汽车客运站): 1115, 2200
East long-distance bus station (东站客运站): 1200, 1750
Journey time probably around 9-10 hours.
