Express departure times are 0750, 0820, 0900, 1020, 1050, 1150, 1250, 1320, 1910, 1940, 2010, 2055, 2110, 2125, 2140, 2155, 2210, 2240, 2250 and 2255. No, you can't buy round-trip tickets.

On Oct. 19, i am planning to travel from Guangzhou to Xiamen, Fujian either by bus or train. I want to see native china during this visit and like to travel both by bus and train in some parts of the journey. then i will travel from Xiamen to Fuzhou by bus. After some local travel, i will want to travel back to Guangzhou either by bus or train. Can any one recommend any expert advice on this. My e mail address is yahoo.com|iathwal

Guangzhou to Xiamen: Bus is faster than train. If you take the train, you need around 13 hours. If you take the bus, just around 10 hours.

Bus: go to Tianhe Bus Station to take long distance sleeping bus. It costs around CNY 220. The bus leaves at 7:20, 9:00, 9:50, 19:00, 21:40, 22:00 and 22:50.

Train:
K232/K229: hard seat: 113 hard berth: 195 / 201 / 209 soft berth: 302 / 316
K297/K300: hard seat: 141 hard berth: 242 / 254 / 261 soft berth: 373 / 389

The first one leaves at 19:22 and the second, 19:08.

Xiamen to Fuzhou: D trains. It takes just 1.5 to 2 hours. The first class seat costs CNY 103 and the second, CNY 85.

Thus, I suggest you take the bus from Guangzhou to Xiamen and then use D trains from Xiamen to Fuzhou.

Better reserve the ticket in advance. I just found two trains from Xiamen to Guangzhou. I am not sure if you can get the train ticket when you get there.

Search trains on http://www.travelchinaguide.com/china-trains/xiamen-schedule.htm and see if they can book the train ticket for you.

You can buy the tickets from Xiamen to you next destination at any train station or booking service (usually 5 RMB fee). Actually, you can choose to go to Guangzhou by train. It leaves at 11:52 and arrives at 11:11 next morning.

GUESTTIAR	Hi I'm Tiar, I'll arrive at Guangzhou on July 16th 2011 at 20.05 then i will continue my trip to Xiamen. If i want to take a bus, what bus should i take and from what station? And how do i get to that station from Baiyun Airport? how long does it take? Thank you
