However, when I come to GZ in October, I will be travelling alone and will want to visit bars where I can find both good beer, good food and good conversation. I will be staying on Shamain Island, so any suggestions of interesting places to eat and drink, within reasonable walking distance, would be much appreciated. I usually stay at the Garden Hotel... this will be the first time that I have stayed on Shamain Island - so if you have any other Shamain tips for the lone traveller, please let me know.
