 | hi. my bestfriend and i will be travelling to hongkong and macau on may 2005. we're students from the philippines, on a very tight budget, and very eager to see the beautiful macau. and i had been busting my head trying to find the cheapest way to stay in macau. i'm looking for a cheap room where we can stay for one night. it has to be safe, of course. clean, too. please help. thanks. =) |

| You might try this one, cheap, clean and friendly people. It is in Kam Loi 24 and called "Sweet House". The rate is approx. 50 HK-Dollar for a bunk and 150 for a double room. I liked that place and their people a lot, so I wrote a little website for them. I hope this is not considered "naked travel advertising". | I am also looking for a hostel in Macau.. I am going there soon.. I've heard that there are 4 youth hostel in Macau..but I got no information about that.. |

| God I wish I had seen this a year earlier. The 1st time I paid 400 MOP for a crappy room in a private guesthouse in Macau and it was the cheapest we could find. The next day I spent the night on a bench and in a bar to save the money. Try the travel agents, they can give you some good hotel rooms for a killer price. cheers, yan |
