First Time in China! Yah!

Welp, this is it. Next Thursday we fly into Shanghai. Then we go to Suzhou. Then to Xian. Then to Beijing. 3-1/2 weeks in all.

Question: I want find an excellent place to eat when we arrive in Shanghai. A place that is not packed with tourists, but frequented by locals. does such a place exist?

Anyone have some tips?

hi, there are a few places near the Shanghai railway station that local people eat and one of them serves hot pot which is good. I hope you enjoy your trip.
