We are a e-retailer for fashionable young working women clothings. We are interested to make a trip down to guangzhou to source for dresses, tops, skirts, belts, handbags and accessories. We are intending to purchase a variety of designs (about 25 to 30 designs) but in small quantity (about 15 to 20 pieces).

We have 5 questions that we hope someone can help us answer:

1) Which markets are better suited for us?

For Clothing: Bai Ma Garment Wholesale, Hui Mei Fashion Wholesale, or Zhan Xi Lu Wholesale

For Bags: Yi Sen Leather MArket or Bai Yun World Leather Trading Centre

For Accessories: Liwan Plaza Jewellery or Taikang Square Jewelry

2) Besides these markets, are there other markets that you recommend us to go?

3) How is payment made at these markets (cash, visa or travellers chaque)?

4) Which shipping companies are good and reliable? How do I get my goods from the wholesalers' shops to the shipping company? Will the wholesaler /shipping company help us or do we have to carry them ourselves? What is the cost of shipping on average?

5) We would like to purchase some of our goods directly from factories. Which area in Guangzhou can I find such reliable factories? Are there ways to get their permission to let us in?

GIONVIA Points: Join Date: Apr 14, 2004 Status: Offline	For childrens clothes ,except zhongshanba , u may also check the wholesale markets nearby old canton fair complex and Shahe children clothes wholesale markets. If i am right , shahe market has the best price here .Good luck.
