 | The border closes at 12 midnight. The easiest way? You can get a bus or coach from the airport, pl. inquire at the information booth at the arrival. The person manning the info counter always there to help. The cheapest way, take bus AP1 at MOP3.30 and go to the bus terminal, then walk across the immigration coplexes (both Macau and mainland China). At Gongbei, there are a few long distance bus terminals. There are no buses after 9 pm, thus need to overnight in Gongbei. Wan |

| Dear Ben If you're a backpacker, better overnight in Gongbei than Macau because things are cheaper in mainland China than in Macau. I have been on transit a few times via Macau, so I prefer Gongbei and there are a few bus terminals not far from the Gongbei Port Customs Complex. Friendship (Youyi) hotel is just a stone throw about 150 (800THB) per night. Have a nice trip to GZ. Wan |
