From Guangzhou airport to Macau airport?

I need to get from Guangzhou new Baiyun airport to Macau airport in a quite limited time.

How much does a taxi cost? Can the trip be done for 40 USD or 300 CNY? I've understood you should settle the price in advance, is that right?

What about buses? How often do they go and how long does the trip take from Guangzhou airport to Macau airport?

Hey,
it is 150km from gz to zhuhai and taxis cost 2.6/km plus 30% return fare. or you can try a private car but i really dont think that would happen.
the next best way is (if your bartering fails), jump to the first airport shuttle bus that goes to either of these places (china hotel, garden hotel, hotel landmark), from where you can take a KEEKWAN bus to china-macau border. buses leave every hour.
when you get to the other side take a taxi straight to the airport. they are fast and reasonably priced.
DO NOT take any buses (if in a hurry) in macau the streets are too crowded and they make detours all the time. i once almost missed my flight thanks to them.

I think you'll find there is an airport shuttle service to the border crossing from Guangzou to Zhuhai. Bus will take anyhwhere from 2-3 hours. Border crossing is pretty quick but allow 30 minutes and some time to enter and exit.

In Macau, taking a taxi is the best option as there is a road that circles, avoids the downtown so you should be able to avoid any serious traffic snarls.

Hope you have at least four or five hours to make your connection. otherwise may be cutting it fine.

If you are good in bargaining, you might get a taxi to take you to Zuhai. I did the same trip recently at night and managed to get a taxi for RMB400.00 from Baiyun airport to Gongbei in Zuhai. Best of luck.

I don't think there's direct transport. Get a bus to Zhuhai then walk across the border.
Departures at 0840, 0930, 1000, 1020, 1040, 1100, 1140, 1200, 1220, 1240, 1300, 1340, 1420, 1500, 1540, 1600, 1630, 1700, 1730, 1800, 1830, 1900, 1930, 2000, 2030, 2110, 2150 and 2220. Journey time probably around 2-3 hours.
