| Let's not be hypocritical about things. Whatever the initial intention is in working or visiting China, all of us are tempted to start a relationship with the opposite sex, honourable or not. If sex is between two consenting persons what is the gripe here? In life you get hurt sometime or other. You learn from experience. Okay, our Chinese ladies may not be so exposed to the way of the outside world, but I sure they learn fast. You can't shield a country or its people from wolves or any predators. |

| Welcome back Pinetree...I was beginning to think you had taken your wit to another site! And I did appreciate your verse, tis better than I can do even in my native language. Actuallly, I did not search out your comment, I was reviewing something on Sanya when I landed on it and as we say, 'it stuck out like a sore thumb'. True, your comment on meeting the pretty young ladies in Sanya was a few months ago, sufficient time for you to have been 'born again'. | This seems to refute two 'myths' that: 1. It is against the culture of China 2. It is white male expats who are taking advantage of pure innocent Chinese girls It is dangerous to assume that China and the Chinese (female or otherwise) are always the victims. ** Are you told these from your heart ? |
