My apologies if I have offended anyone. I guess my impressions
gathered from the few mainland Chinese I have come across
may not be representative of ALL mainlanders.

Pinetree, why are surprised? You ask for opinions and we gave ours.

KSWONG, I also apology if my words offend you. I tried to be calm but just couldn't. To some extent, you are right. And as I have wrote before, there are indeed bad behaviors among Chinese people. But your words showed that you think all of Chinese are not gracious and well-mannered. I can't agree with you.

What's more, China is still a developing country. There are MANY people struggling in poverty. Think and discuss sth. about how to help them is much more important, I think.
