hello there

I will be in Nanning around 1st of February. I need to buy a ticket from Nanning to Hanoi. Do you know the price, details?

do you know any cheap place to stay in Nanning?

what's this city like? any recommendations?

You may search web site of China Airlines.
All Airline have own web site with flight schedule and price information.
As you are searching for cheap, so you may travel by train. There is way to travel from Nanning to Hanoi by train/bus.
So many cheap hotel in Nanning

I always go to Nanning from Hanoi by bus. It's very convennient and cheaper. Anyway, there isn't any direct Hanoi-Nanning Flight. If you choose the bus Hanoi-Nanning,the price is RMB 120/p. When you come to the border, you will change to Vietnam Bus. Of course, no more payment will be paid.
Another choice is: you buy Nanning-Pingxiang bus ticket (about RMB 50-80), then take a taxi from Pingxiang to the YouYi Guan (about RMB 10).Crossing the border, you take a Vietnam taxi to LangSon City (about RMB 25; VND 50,000). And choose the LangSon-Hanoi bus. Its cost is about RMB 25.
I myself like the first choice. Because it's so comfortable. However, I start from Hanoi at 8.00am and about 4p.m arrive Nanning.My friend likes the second. It takes time!
